Officer Ricky Bryant Jr. :

Served two years for the DeKalb County Police Dept. in the State of Georgia, Officer Bryant was a native of Rochester NY. Sadly,Officer Bryant was shot and killed along with his partner on 1/16/08. The burial will be in Rochester New York on Monday 1/28/08 (Time and location to be announced).

Officer Bryant is survived by his wife and four children, he was a graduate of Gates-Chili High School & a former US Marine.

Trooper David Brinkerhoff: David Brinkerhoff

On 4/25/07 Trooper David Brinkerhoff was accidentally shot and killed by another officer during an intense gun battle while taking part in a manhunt for an assailant who had shot and wounded a New York State Trooper the previous day.

Utica Police Officer Thomas Lindsey:

It is with deepest sympathy that we report the killing of Officer Thomas Lindsey of the Utica New York Police Department. Officer Lindsay was shot in the head on 4/12/07 while on a traffic stop. He was a five year veteran of the Utica Police Department. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and colleagues.

Rochester Police Officer Tom Clark - Died 1/17/06 after completing the K9 obstacle course. He suffered a fatal heart attack shortly after the course. He was laid to rest with full honors.

Monroe County Sheriff's Deputy Galen Herren - Was killed on 12/04/05 in an auto accident while enroute to work. Deputy Herren was about 3 miles from work when a car going the wrong way on the expressway stuck his car head on. Deputy Herren was 39 yrs old

Firefighter William Bostian - Passed away Saturday August 6th. 2006
Bill was a 30 Year member of West Webster Volunteer Fire Department, where he was currently serving as Vice-President of the Fire Department and Lieutenant of the Fire Police; Vice-President of Monroe County Volunteer Firemen's Association and member of Webster Special Police.

Gates keystone Police Pipes and Drums was honored to perform at Bill's Service.

Trooper Andrew J Sperr - New York State Trooper - Dec 21,1972 - Mar 6,2006.The band performed at Andrew Sperr's Park dedication service in Big Flats New York on 9/9/06.
