Amazing Grace

grace05.jpg (58401 bytes)

In January of 2004, the band accepted delivery of a 1966 International Pumper which had been recently retired from the Shelby Nebraska Fire Dept. in August 2003.  The truck has just over 13,000 original miles. It was loaded onto an 18 wheel Flatbed Truck & was shipped across the USA through a mighty snowstorm. It arrived in Rochester in one piece! We dubbed her...

"AMAZING GRACE"

The truck required some minor touch up work before being placed into parades.

We would like to thank the following people and businesses:

The paint was buffed out by our good friends at Gates Automotive  73 Marway Circle, Rochester New York 14624 Ph# 585-247-3844).

The lettering and decals were done by Danny Azzolina of Adirondack Graphics (Ph# 585-529-2178).

The oak floor hose bed was refurbished by our Keystone Club President Tony Perry.

The Beacon Light was donated by Gates Police Officer Ronald Morken.

Electrical parts were donated by Schnabel Auto Parts (247 Buffalo Rd. Rochester NY 14611   Ph# 585-436-8230)

Wiring work was done by Gates Animal Control Officer Mario Madau

The bell was donated by the Spencerport New York Fire Department.

The Gates Fire District has been kind enough to donate a Deck Gun, Indian Tanks, Helmets and other items to be incorporated into the truck.

The truck is registered with National S.P.A.A.M.F.A.A and the local Genesee Valley Chapter of S.P.A.A.M.F.A.A.

Our  parade truck has been a real crowd pleaser and leads the band in parades!
